Helium Elimination Robot for Balloon Eradication and Reconnaissance Tasks

We are a Junior level engineering group tasked with creating an automatized rover with balloon popping and color target detection capabilities. The rover will complete four different missions set as checkpoints through the course of the class.


Mission Outcome
Mission 1.a
Rover must perform a 10 foot box and finish within 3 feet of start point

Mission 1.b
Rover must receive a distance from transmitter and drive within ±10%

Mission 2
Drive 60 sec. in an 8 foot box without contacting walls or obstacles
Pass
Mission 3
Rover will be placed in an 8 foot box with different color paper on each wall, the rover must then drive within 18" of the pre-determined color

Mission 4
Rover will be placed in the corner of the 8 foot box then must proceed to pop three ballons of a pre-determined color within 120 sec. while not popping other balloons
