Gerald Ives is a colorado native, originally from southern Colorado. Now at the age of 25 living in Grand Junction, Colorado. Gerald grew up as most young boys in Colorado, loving the outdoors, fishing, camping, and hunting. At a young age he began two passions in his life.
The first passion was for the love of Mountain biking. Gerald started racing downhill mountain bikes at the age of 16, where he became one of the top riders in Colorado. Also in the nation. Gerald ranked number one in the state for two years in a row and in the top 10 in the nation.
After racing for 9 years, Gerald decided to work on his other passion, photography. Gerald recieved his first 35mm film camera from his dad when he was 8. From that moment on Gerald started taking picturesand fell in love with photography and every aspect it intails. Only being in 4th grade Gerald already knew what he wanted to be when he grew up. Years of practice and playing with the camera, Gerald realized he had a natural "eye" for photography.
Gerald has since moved on to digtial cameras. Today Gerald is a self taught photgrapher, and practices the art. He takes landscapes, sports, model and many more photos and strives to make each one shine with divine.
