How to get started:

1) Click on VIEW in the drop down menu to select the type of graph you want to work with or use the shortcut key "Shift+t" for Time Domain and "Shift+F" for Frequency Domain.

Time Domain- This will graph the amplitude of the sound wave as time progresses. It will give you the opportunity to zoom in and out and scroll back and forth in regard to time.
	
Frequency Domain- This will graph the frequency distribution in magnitude at different Hz.
	
Sine and Cosine Wave Generator- This option allows you to generate, view and listen to your own sine or cosine wave.
	

2) Choose whether you want to record your own WAV file or open an existing WAV file.

NOTE***This application is designed to work ONLY WITH WAV FILES AND WILL NOT WORK WITH ANY OTHER TYPE OF FILE
  
3) To open an existing WAV file select OPEN from the FILE drop down menu or use the shortcut key "Ctrl+O". Then browse through your files and highlight the desired file and press OPEN.

3) If you choose to record your own WAV file click on the left outer box with the red dot to start recording. Once you start recording it will display your graph live depending on the view you're in.
  
4) After you have stopped recording you can change views to see the sound presented in different forms.
