Colorado Mesa University Society of Physics Students

The Colorado Mesa University Physics program hosts an active chapter of the Society of Physics Students (SPS). The SPS is a national professional organization for undergraduate physics students. It promotes undergraduate research in physics, outreach at K-12 organizations and professional and career development in physics at the undergraduate level.

The Colorado Mesa University SPS chapter holds regular meetings accompanied by physics-related activities and demonstrations. The chapter has received several national awards for outstanding chapter and outstanding chapter advisor.
