Cisco to Dewey Bridge

This 15 mile flat water section is rarely run only because of the spectacular section upstream (Westwater Canyon) and the spectacular section downstream (Professor Valley).   So if you are looking for a flat water section where you are unlikely to encounter other people, or if you want to extend your Westwater or Professor Valley trip, this section might be right for you.  We found a few nice camping spots, one of which is pictured above.  The Fish Ford, about 5 miles downstream of the Cisco boat ramp is actually a BLM campground that looks like it never gets used.  A couple miles further downstream are some nice camping sites (nicer than Fish Ford).  These sites look like they may be used by the occasional commercial float trip on this section of the river.  Beware of Spring winds.  The water is Class I.
