Advertise for instructors by emailing [email protected] and asking people. If more than one instructor is interested in teaching the same class then negotiate splitting the class into sections or team teaching. I’ll get the instructors to work it out between themselves. Instructors must provide their name address, email address, and phone to Jerry Nolan. Instructors must include a description of the class they would like to teach and prerequisites such as skill and equipment.
Deadline for instructors to commit: January 16. If no instructors commit, this ain’t gonna happen.
Advertise classes on web, newsletter, newspapers, posters, and email.
Require pre-registration for classes by emailing or snail mailing Jerry Nolan. Require name, address, phone number, and email address of each student. Provide this information immediately to each instructor as each student registers. Classes are free. We can encourage instructors to invite their students to join the GMNC and/or make a donation.
Below is a draft of a possible class schedule for Skyway Ski College. This will depend mainly on what our instructors want to teach.
