Sleds
Utility sleds are available that could be used for evacuating injured or ill skiers to the parking lot. They could also be used to bring the survival blankets from your car to the injured or ill person until professional rescuers arrive. The sleds can be pulled by skier, snow shoer, or snowmobile. Sled #1 is at Skyway and leaning against a tree where the grooming equipment is kept. It can be seen from the trail. This sled is made from an old kayak.
Sled #2 is located at County line about 15 yards behind the trailhead sign and about 2 yards off the trail. It's leaning against a tree.
