Our President and weatherman Joe Ramey said it was going to be clear and cold. Well, he got it half right which is pretty good for a weatherman. It was a beautiful day, clear, sunny and warm and the racers responded by showing up in big numbers and had a great time. Actually, the snow remained pretty cold so the skiing wasn't particularly fast but nobody seemed to care as we soaked up the rays for a great finish to the year.

Once again Dave and Christie Aschwanden were the fastest male and female. Robert Woerne was close behind Dave for a good race. Christie was very impressive finishing third overall. We had several racers who were trying it out for the first time. We hope they were inspired by the good camaraderie and are hooked. There were also a number of young racers who all managed the long race with aplomb. Keep at it!
