Grand Mesa Nordic Council – Corporate Sponsorship and Donations

May 10, 2002

The Grand Mesa Nordic Council seeks donations from individuals and corporate sponsors.   The primary function of the Grand Mesa Nordic Council (GMNC) is the promotion of cross-country skiing through the development and grooming of cross-country ski trails on the Grand Mesa in Colorado.  The GMNC is currently dependent on the  volunteer work of its members.  A small number of volunteers do most of the work which averages 20 hours or more per week to groom trails during winter using snowmobiles.  To insure the continued grooming of trails for  hundreds of skiers in the western Colorado, additional funds are needed to hire groomers and purchase grooming equipment.  Please examine the GMNC Five Year Plan.

The Grand Mesa Nordic Council is nonprofit tax deductible organization under section 509(a)(1) and 170(b)(1)(A)(vi) of the 1991 Tax Code as determined by the Internal Revenue Service, District Director, Gary O. Booth, in its correspondence (Letter 947 DO/CG dated Nov 27, 1991) to the Grand Mesa Nordic Council.
