Salt mtn (S of Vega and 2 km West of the Park creek Rd) ran yesterday.
Crown was 400' wide and fracture 2-5' deep. It ran at least 350' down
the mountain. Fortunately people don't go there in the winter but I
think it reinforces the fact that the Grand Mesa does have avalanches.
