Revision

Once you've completed a draft of an essay, you want to set it aside for a few days.  Then, after you've been away from it, come back to it with a critical eye.  At this point you want to begin to ask yourself some questions about the draft, to work with rewording and reorganizing.  You want to make sure you're sticking to your ``main point," that you've said what you wanted to say as effectively as you could say it, that it flows from paragraph to paragraph, that you introduction is exciting , a good hook, and that your conclusion leaves your reader with a strong impression, something to think about, a suggestion for action.  Exercises 11-14 are geared to help you with revision.
