Concession
"Concession" means to "concede," and "concede" means "to give up." But you don't want to "give up" your entire argument. You just want to give up a little. Give up something that isn't very important. "Concession" can improve your ethos, or the image people have of you. You present yourself as an honest person. You show that you are not perfect, and that may help your audience believe you when you do take a stand.
